Technical Intern Training Program (TITP)

What is Technical Intern Training Program (TITP)?

TITP is a Japan’s program to provide job opportunities in Japan to the foreign national workers. Its main objective is to provide & transfer training, technical skills, and technology experience to workers from the developing countries. To provide Japan’s methods & quality experience to Indian skilled workers and expecting them to return to India with world class skills and methods to transfer to the skilling ecosystem in India, the Government of India partnered with the Government of Japan to send Indian skilled workers to Japan under the TITP program. National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) is the central agency in India to manage the TITP program.

PanIIT Alumni Foundation is empanelled by NSDC to send Technical Interns to Japan under the TITP program.

The skilled workers going to work in Japan as Technical Interns through the TITP program can work for up to 5 years. However, to qualify for the TITP program the applicant must have relevant prior work experience in domain skills and must be trained in Japanese language and Japanese culture.

DOMAIN SKILL CAREGIVER OR CARE WORKER

WORK IN JAPAN

A caregiver is “a person who provides direct care for children, elderly people, or the chronically ill”. In other words, a caregiver takes care of people who are too sick, too young, or too old to take care of themselves. 

The caregiver jobs in Japan are in high demand due to its increasing elderly population. There are a plethora of opportunities to work in the caregiving industry for elderly people in Japan. 

To qualify as a Caregiver one should have prior equivalent work experience in the domain. 

THE ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

  • Age: 18+ years
  • Skill Qualification: ANM or GNM or above
  • Experience: Min 1 year of working experience as a ‘Caregiver’ in a facility for the elderly or disabled persons, or in homes and so on, performing day-to-day care, functional training, or medical care and so on for the elderly or disabled persons
  • Japanese Language: Passed level N4 Japanese-Language Proficiency Test or above

SELECTION OF CANDIDATES FOR THE TITP PROGRAM

The following will be used to select candidates for the TITP program:

  • The candidate has successfully completed the 2-year ANM course from one of the Nursing Kaushal Colleges managed by PanIIT Alumni Foundation
  • The candidate has at least 1 year post-training experience in the Home Healthcare sector and has received good feedback from the employer
  • The candidate took Japanese language training provided by PanIIT Alumni Foundation and has cleared the N4 level
  • Language training is provided free to our alumni. The Japanese language exam fees and other incidental costs will be charged as per actuals. There is no separate placement fees charged to our candidates.
